Bill was born on November 10, 1929 in Hornell, New York and lived in Clarence, NY until he and his wife moved to Palm Beach Gardens in 1978.
He proudly served in the Korean War and afterward served as a New York State Trooper for 25 years. Later he joined the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office where he served for another 20 years.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his loving family, was a member and former Deacon of Gardens Presbyterian Church, in addition to participating in many fraternal organizations.
He was predeceased in death by his loving wife Gayle, and is survived by his daughters Leanne (Thomas) Rohrer and Laurie (John) Panzarino, and his three granddaughters, Jennifer (Joseph) Prete, Alissa Panzarino and Leah Panzarino.
A celebration of his life will be held at Gardens Presbyterian Church, 4677 Hood Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 on Sunday, November 2 at 12:15pm with a private inurnment at Riverside Memorial Park.
