My Dad and I loved Sandy, he was one of my late dad's best friends and we loved skiing with him in whistler. He was an ideas man and I think that what set him apart. Enthusiastic, fun and a real peoples person. My sincere condolences to all the family and to dear Shirley.

November 18, 2014...Remembering you, Unc--gone one year ago today.  We miss You!!!  Mum is asking about you...her 'little' brother.  Happy trails on the mountain!  Weeeeee...down the slope. I will never forget being in the PNE Parade--early 1950s--on The Two Skiers Float...amazing!!!

Sandy, my (our) Uncle, taught me skiing & sailing, and how to prepare the hull of the Hecate 6 meter every chilly wet Spring for new paint and speed.His wife, "Auntie Barbara" was my favorite. We enjoyed many times together with a lot of Krazee humor and sincerity. Sandy was a genius and or wizard of ideas and motivation.He wanted to do even more- no limit
! Of course he is always missed. His legacy is that we must enjoy and create during our short lives on this 
Earth.Shusse-boomers all!

Sandy was my brother in law, married to sister Barbara.  He  had the Two Skiers store in the 50's and 60's, also wonderful dog Brandy who rode the Grouse chairlift. Two wonderful children Nancie and Jamie.

I remember Sandy from Grouse Mountain years and all the wonderful costumes he wore, and the fun obstacle courses he made. Later on, he spent a lot of time at "camp"(Halfmoon Bay) being a great friend to my mother. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and Shirley.
