It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Ernest Treasure. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Sandra and survived by his daughter Kimberley (Eric), son Glenn (Kelly), and grandchildren Amanda and Syd.
Barry was born in Toronto and lived in the Toronto area with his family until they all moved to North Vancouver in 1985. He was a long-time resident of North Vancouver, moving to Vancouver after the passing of his wife. He spent his final years at Churchill House in North Vancouver.
Barry’s professional career was that of a purchaser in the manufacturing and dairy industries.
Barry was an avid gardener and enjoyed a passion for sailing. He was also an excellent carpenter and handyman. He always enjoyed tinkering.
He will be missed by family and friends alike.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. or the North Shore Hospice would be appreciated.
