Ted passed away peacefully at the age of 95.
Born in Aurora, Ontario, to Charlie and Farrow Allen, Ted lived a full and adventurous life. He began his career with Canadian Pacific Railways and later transitioned into air travel sales with British Airways. His passion for travel eventually led him to become a dedicated travel agent, serving countless clients through North South Travel.
Ted was predeceased in October 2020 by the love of his life, Patricia Kania. Together, they shared 40 joyful years exploring the world side by side. His brother George predeceased Ted in 2021.
Ted will be remembered for his love of bridge, curiosity and enduring kindness. Friends, colleagues, and clients will remember him with fondness and respect.
In the end, it’s not the dates on our headstones that matter, but the quality of the life we live in the dash between them—that brief line representing all our time on earth. For most of his life, Ted made his dash count, a simple yet powerful reminder of what it truly means for to live well.
