I wish I hadn’t drawn on this photo as a kid, but you can still see Chris’ personality bursting through. Chris was my first real friend and I’ll miss him dearly.

Chris or as we on discord know him, van, was a very rare find to come by on this platform. in a sea of many different personalities, he was one of the warmest. we shared very similar values and his empathy for the world, animals and the like really touched myself and my partner. He was so in love with jess and he would never miss an opportunity to speak about her when she wasnt around, he truly was a very rare find, he was one of the kindest people i me ton this platform and i think i speak for everyone when i say we will all miss him and The Moss will not be the same without him but we still have the memory of him. lots of love, hex from the uk <3

Christopher was a great friend to myself and those around him. I met christopher through an online platform meant to meet friends and hang out. He spent lots of time with our group of friends daily making us laugh and sharing his references and music with us. He always told us how much he loved his wife daily and how much she meant to him. Christophers friendship and kindness was so powerful, it reached those all across the world that knew him! Whether it be online or in person. He will truly be missed. My heart goes out to the family and loved ones affected by such a tragic loss. He will be missed 💛

Christopher is a fantastic human being. He allowed everyone to have a safe place to open up without any judgment and he always found a way to light up any situation. I met Christoper on a friendly online platform called tinychat. Christoper chosen nickname was Van. Van and Jess were one of the rarest couples who are mellow and chill, always having a great time with close ones filled with laughter and fun times. I admire all the stories he shared of his father who he really missed and looked up to.  Van is an ultimate gentleman, always made you feel welcomed, admired, and respected. He shared a love for glass art, fishing, movies, animation, nature plants and herbs, amazing drinks, and a desiring love for foods of all kinds, especially Chinese food or fried chicken. I always laugh with warmth, late nights  with Van and Jess consumed of  Chinese food pick up and they would have the best food-gassems, while having big laughs talking with our homies online.  Van was the most attractive one in our group of friends, he never really had to try, he always enjoyed:  a nice taper or haircut, some bold fancy jewelry, and his lady by his side. I admired the deep unconditional love he had for Jess and always have hoped for that type of love to find me. He was always one to fangirl Jess and never held back. Wish more guys were like Van. He is such a big tall teddy bear, friend to all folks, a legend of many crafts and arts, and a big compassionate lover who always want the best for everyone. I am blessed to have Van and Jess in my life. You both brought happiness in my heart, mind, body, and tears. I wish Van was still here with us. I always have your back Jess and I always had Vans back. Van, you really made an impact in all of us on tiny chat and Discord platform. It won't be the same without you. Every single person who you ever engaged with, you have left all tears in our eyes. I miss you and I love you Van. Rest in peace my friend.

I got lots of fun memories with Wilken (Chris). Always full of laughs, jokes, smiles and obviously smoke. I’ve always loved Chris like a brother, after I moved to Alberta we didn’t talk as much but whenever we did it was always warm and fun. Loved seeing him with his amazing wife and seeing how happy he was. Till we meet again my brother, always love you and always will miss your laugh and smile.
