After being a patient of Dr. Craig Markle since 1986, I also thought of him as a friend. I am deeply sad that he could not beat the cancer. I was pulling for him.  He was compassionate, thoughtful, listened, never rushed and was in my observation, the best darn Doctor there could be. 

Just before Christmas, I was fortunate to see Dr. Markle at LGH on his way to chemo and he bestowed me with one of his magical smiles.

I always felt very lucky to become one of his patients.

If wishes be heard and granted, Dr. Markle would be here with his wonderful wife and daughter that he cherished so!

With a heavy heart, I am very saddened to have just gotten the news of Dr. Markle's passing. He was an exceptional Doctor, my rock of Gibraltar, my greatest friend and confident for 30 years. I went to him when he first opened up his practice. 

We had many talks about Hawaii. My daughter, that he helped bring into this world, hula danced; and her and I have traveled to Hawaii many times!

His kindness and gentle way helped me through every illness, crises, and turmoil- he has steadfastly guided and supported me to achieve a better life for myself and for my daughter. His superb bedside manner and sage advice preceded his outstandingly humane character.

I am truly blessed to have been a patient of his for so many years, and to have benefited from his everlasting influence. 

He has given me the faith to carry on!

Our family is saddened to hear the news of Dr.Markles' passing. He was very much liked for his gentle manner and compassion. We were so fortunate to have had a true family doctor for thirty years. He is missed and fondly remembered.

My family was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Markle. He was a wonderful Doctor and human being with a sincere and caring approach.  He provided excellent care to my family for many years. Our condolences to his family.

Dr Markle was a great doctor, a wonderful human being, and a friend who looked after me and helped me manage my MS for the last 22 years, he will be forever remembered for the kindness and compassion he

Dr. Markle was the most wonderful doctor who made a difference in our lives. He was a caring and compassionate human being who unselfishly made the world a better place. Our condolences go to his family and especially to his daugher Christina who was born almost the same day as when he brought our son into the world. We shared many stories about our children when they grew up. We will never forget all he has done for us.
