Dhorea Orphan (nee Raptis) was born in Penticton, BC., and passed away peacefully in North Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by her parents George and Katherine Raptis, brother William, and sister Helen. Dhorea moved to Vancouver and then West Vancouver, working as a teacher, flight attendant, salon owner, property manager and realtor. Gracious and stylish, Dhorea had a life-long love of travel and visited many people around the world. She especially enjoyed visiting Hawaii, helping those in need, and sharing her contagious smile. She is survived by brother-in-law Kenneth Campbell, sister Dorothy Petley, nieces and nephews and their families, and many other relatives. She will be missed by all who knew her. Thank you to the caring staff at Capilano Care Centre and Lions Gate Hospital. There will be no service by her request. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
