We have enjoyed Don's sense of humour for many years at Birch Bay, first at the Slides and lately at the Legion Post 86. Recently, we'd also see him on Thursday afternoons at Sawbucks Pub in White Rock. He always claimed he was waiting for his laundry to finish. We'll miss his bright smile.

I was so saddened to hear of Don's passing.  I will miss calling out "Hey, Donny Doo Doo" when he walked into the American Legion in Birch Bay. He would grin ear to ear and I got away with it!  It won't be the same without him.

Rest now my friend, you will be missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of Don! I feel blessed to have known him and call him my friend. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I met Don many years ago in our home away from home in Birch Bay WA. He will be missed by many in this little beach town south of the border.  RIP Don.  You were a wonderful friend. Our condolences to his family at this sad time.
