On January 14th 1964 Dorothy Jeanne Kennedy was born to Mary Clare and Joseph Kennedy. To everyone's delight she was the New Year's Baby for Terrace Bay.
Dorothy was one of ten children born into a Roman Catholic Irish Family. In her adult life Dorothy lived and worked in Vancouver and Edmonton and had an opportunity to return to Terrace Bay briefly and enjoyed reconnecting with friends and her love of the Ontario seasons.
No matter where Dorothy found herself she always had a desire and a flair for re-designing space and refreshing decor.
Dorothy was kind hearted, loving and a little bit quiet in a big family, but you always knew she was in the room with her little quips and Kennedy laugh. We can still hear you Dorothy.
Dorothy is lovingly survived by her brothers Ken, Jimi (Ruth), sisters Lynda, Mary-jo and Carol (Blair), sisters-in-law Lori, Carol, Sui, Lisa and Auntie Kitty Kukko, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Mary Clare and Joseph, her husband Kamran, brothers Jerald, Patrick, Richard, and Joseph, her sister-in-law Helle and brother-in-law Guy.
We will miss you little sister. Godspeed, shine bright so we can find you in the darkest nights. Dorothy Jeanne you are forever loved and cherished.
