It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank Joseph Cameron on Saturday afternoon June 12, 2021. Frank was born January 11, 1922 in So. Vancouver to Rose Nathan and Alexander Cameron. He had 4 brothers and sisters who all predeceased him.
Frank joined the Canadian armed forces in the early 40's and spent time on both the European and Asian fronts. On his retirement, Frank got his engineers designation and shortly after, married a young lady by the name of Margaret Thelma, circa 1953 when they built their home in Lynn Valley, No. Vancouver. There they lived for many years opening their home to both friends and acquaintances. As they aged, in 1992 a young lady named Di Balcita came into their lives in a very positive way and assisted them in so many ways. With his engineering work and being a senior instructor at the N.V.R.C. , he became a leader in the North Vancouver Community. Sadly, his wife Margie took sick and on September 6, 2007 passed away. Di stayed on to support Frank and in 2015, they moved out to the Langley area.
Frank led a good life, working hard but loving his play time as well. Not only was he witty and sharp but always a gentleman. He touched so many people in a positive way and earned their respect.
Frank, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten!
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank can be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency or a charity of your choice.
