Gary died peacefully in hospital. He is survived by his wife Tish, his children Larissa (Jon) and David and his grandchildren Zemeirah, Naima, Zion, Aiden and Nathan.
Gary worked for the Vancouver Public Library for 30 years as a Bookbinder. In retirement he enjoyed walks with Tish, reading, picnics in Van Dusen Gardens…and chocolate cake.
Gary was a gentle, thoughtful man who was much loved and will be deeply missed.
