After our mother passed away aunt Helen, a great seamstress used to make special clothes for me She loved my baby brother"Mickey", watching over him and helping my father and grandmother with his care. We were very close and as the years passed and my daughter Tracey was born on aunt Helen's birthday she was thrilled. beautiful clothes came from Helen's. When my son Arney was born he was not forgotten, and received his first sailor suit. We had moved to California and aunt Helen and uncle Elgin would visit us often. Aunt Helen was very wonderful, just being with her made the day very special. There will never be another person in the world like her, and I happened to love her for being just the way she was aunt Helen. Prayers in the wind to you aunt Helen. You are missed.

My Aunt Helen will be missed dearly. I remember all the times visiting my Aunt at her beautiful home and at her store. She shared with me her business tips and her memories as a child.
As a child I would visit Aunt Helen with my father Michael (George) or Mickey Arnold. Later, I visited my Aunt with my three children. She was always so happy to see us.
The fact her store sign is still standing is wonderful.

Every Christmas the nieces and nephews of Aunt Helen, have fond memories of receiving new pajamas or a clothing item on Christmas Eve. Helen was a graceful classy lady my dad, her nephew Bob, was proud of. A Burnaby legend and an admirable business woman. Sorry to hear of her passing

Along with my father Ernie Anderson, we were long time suppliers (50+ years) of children's apparel and accessories to the iconic Helen's Childrens Wear on East Hastings.
Helen ran a very successful business.
She was a very astute business woman and certainly, one very classy lady.
It was always a delight for this "kid" to escort Helen back to her car after an appointment at our agency's showrooms.
FYI - that car being an immaculate and awesome 1965 Thunderbird.
Great lady!
You will be missed.
