Ian was an amazing man who touched so many lives and it is with great sadness that we share the news of his passing on Nov 13, 2013 at the age of 86. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Gwynn, his children Peter, Robert & Chris, his step-children Cathy Piteux, Stephen (Leah) Whitworth, Mark (Pam) Whitworth, 13 grandchildren, Dylan, Natalie, Sean, Michelle, Cameron, Thoma, Jonathan, Jessica, Paul, Jacob, Sam, Luke and Max and one great grandchild, Ethan. He is also survived by his sisters, Joan, Frances and Donna as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Ian was predeceased by his son Kevin, daughter-in-law Lori, and grandson Jason. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, November 22 at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, N. Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, Ian’s family encourages donations on his behalf to the Salvation Army or Lion’s Gate Hospital Foundation.
