Jake was the kindest, gentlest man I've ever met my life. When I walked into Capilano Christian Community 25 years ago at the plaza in North Vancouver, he was the first guy to greet me with a big smile and a huge handshake from his big hands. Over the years Jake became my Christian mentor, as he did with many other people. He is going to be sorely missed here on Earth and they've got a great gift in heaven with him up there. Job well done Jake. Till we meet again.
