I am so sorry to learn all this time later, that Jim has passed away.  I have thought of you all, and Robin, often and am sorry to have lost touch.  If you get my email through this message, I would be grateful to hear from you, Sheila or Fiona.  Love to you both, Julie

Dear Sheila and Fiona and family,
So very sorry to hear of the loss of Jim.  I cannot count the many kindnesses and friendship shared by Jim and your family, since the days of botanizing and gardening in NL, also leading the hiking club and X country skiing. I always enjoyed his tales of wild adventures around the world and the enthusiasm he had for so many interests. It was a real pleasure to have both of our children visit your North Vancouver residence. We still laugh about Jim's whorl wind tours of all the highlights and must see's on those visits. Dear Sheila and Fiona, 

Ruby and I were sad to learn of Jim's passing. It a long time since we were in St. John's and many happy memories of those days.

Jim lived life to the full. I will miss his calls which came out of the blue in recent years, where we chatted about the old days and families. 

It is good that Fiona lives close. Robert lives in Ottawa and in Andrea Maryland USA making Covid burdensome.
