Dad attended Connaught House Prep School and then Wellington College in England, followed by Queens University in Ontario. A time of study at Frank Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture in the USA followed next. After many work experiences from logging to aircraft maintenance John settled down as a tool and die maker with the Schlage Lock Company where he met Florence. He spent the last 25 years of his career as a Mechanical Designer at Sandwell Engineering.
Dad loved his motorcycles and Big Band music, managing his own dance band in the 1950’s called the Gary Langstaff Orchestra. He had a wonderful life and was greatly loved by family and friends.
