I remember John being a kind and interesting fellow.  He had a great sense of humour and a genuinely big heart.  Though I didn't know him for long, he made big and positive impression.  My condolences to the family. :(

Memories are still so strong on my sharing classes and courses with John at Point Grey and Magee. Great person and think of those good days so often. Rest easy John -
