I am very sorry to hear of the passing of my Uncle Les. Although I had never met him until May of 2009 when he came to visit his sister (my mother) Edith Biskup in Windsor Ontario. Through my mother I had heard a few stories about him in their younger years and when Uncle Les served in the navy during WWII. She showed me a picture of him while he was on board the RCN Ship The Pas. Once Uncle Les returned to BC, I found a photo of The Pas on-line and sent it to him. My mother was very happy he visited her as she had not seen him in many years. Sadly my mother passed away on April 01-2009. Once again I am very sorry for your loss. Robert Biskup

I was saddened to hear of your loss and my life long friend Les . I knew les & worked for him back in the late 50's and in the 60's.   But lost contact after I moved to Toronto from Burnaby..  My condolences to all his children Bob, Wayne, Penny, Laura? Leslie Ann Donna .  so very sorry, for you loss 


I don’t even know what to say… Les was like a grandfather to me. He was the best boss ever and was my mentor for years. I met him when I was 9 and my mom worked for him. At 17, I started working in the shop and did deliveries to Pemberton with him every month. He often comes to mind and the stories he would tell me. The orphanage, his brother, the navy, his spouses and 6 children. Hugs to everyone. He was a great man. I’m so sorry I lost touch with him.
