Lorraine Agnes Petersen

Lorraine was born in Saskatchewan and moved to the west coast where she raised her family. She had a long career in retail sales and demonstration positions at Eaton’s and Sears.

Lorraine was known for her style and her sense of humour. She loved her family and had many friends, for which she was grateful. She was immensely generous to others, both with her time and her possessions. She put tremendous time and energy into her creations, whether it was a sewing project or a family dinner. She loved Christmas especially, and friends, family and neighbours looked forward each year to her decorations, gingerbread baking and the Christmas feast.

Lorraine was an avid traveller, and enjoyed meeting people from around the world. Her favourite destinations were Switzerland and Hawaii.

Lorraine is predeceased by her beloved partner, Brian Chandler. She is remembered and deeply missed by her two sons Terry (Susan) and Ken (Jean), granddaughters Nicole and Lauren, and grand-dogs Daisy and Mango.

She will be forever in our hearts. Love you always. Hugs.

A Celebration of Life to honour Lorraine will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Holiday Inn North Vancouver from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
