After a courageous battle with cancer, Malcolm passed away at the end of March.
He was predeceased by his wife, Enid, and leaves behind his sons Malcolm Jr. (Cathy), Philip (Kerri), his daughter Robyn and his five grandchildren Nickolaus, Marcus, Olivia, Griffin and Angus.
Malcolm was born in New Castle on Thyme in England and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He landed in Vancouver, BC where he met Enid at an outdoors club through the YMCA. They soon married and raised a family in North Vancouver.
Through retirement, Malcolm and Enid resettled in White Rock where they both embarked on many travel adventures.
Malcolm enjoyed working with a variety of materials as an avid carver and bladesmith and had a great interest in Western literature and films.
He was well respected at various shooting ranges throughout the Lower Mainland where he pursued his enthusiasm for firearms and militaria.
Known for his cheerful, friendly demeaner, Malcolm was a fountain of knowledge and an anchor for any team in pursuit of trivia.
Thank you to Malcolm’s many friends at Evergreen who helped support him in the last years and the Care Teams at Peach Arch Hospital, Weatherby Pavillion and Al-Hogg Pavillion
