Maria Nicola Di Salvo
May 27, 1921 – May 5, 2022

Maria Nicola Lastoria Di Salvo, beloved wife, mother and Nonna. Born May 27, 1921 in Civitanova Del Sannio, Italy passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 05, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michele of 66 years, sister Concettina, brother's Antonio and Domenico. She is survived by her brother Giovanni Lastoria. Her three children, Antonio Di Salvo (Audrey), Beatrice Farina (Felice), Domenico Di Salvo; Grandchildren — Mike (Peggy), Maria (Nick), Anna (Chris), Susanne (Alfred), Michael (Sarina), Diana (predeceased Julio), Michelle & Robert. Great Grandchildren — Brian, Christina (Caleb), Nathan, Vanessa, Daniela, Michael, Maxwell, Catarina, Gabriella, Melissa, Adrian, Marco and Paulina; relatives and many friends in Canada, Italy and Argentina. A special thank you to the Staff at Villa Carital and VGH Nurses for their care and compassion during her time with them.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 am on May 19, 2022 at our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at the Abbey Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. The Service will be lived streamed at https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/53610 .
