It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Arnold. Predeceased by parents Frank and Helen Cruickshank, survived by husband Ed, children Lauren (Michael), Ryan (Sabrina), and beloved grandchildren Mila, Russell, Lewis, and Micah. Marilyn was also predeceased by her brother George and survived by her sister-in-law Lorna, brother Sandy (Linden) and their families.
Marilyn was a dedicated primary teacher in the North Vancouver school district for more than 40 years. She especially enjoyed sharing her love of art and music with her students and volunteered with Artists for Kids.
Marilyn adored her many amazing friends and she enjoyed bringing people together. She loved cooking and will be remembered as a terrific host of many dinner parties, book clubs, and holiday parties. Marilyn was a lover of literature and always had several books nearby. She loved to travel and had many wonderful trips with family and friends to France, Italy, Greece, New York, Hawaii, Palm Springs, and Australia.
Without question, Marilyn’s greatest pride and joy was her family. Her role as a mother and grandmother (“Ammie”) were her true passion. She will be very greatly missed.
