She is survived by Tomas, her husband of 68 years, daughter Valeria (Victor) and son Tibor (Susan), 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Born in Kosice, Slovakia, Marta emigrated to Canada in 1969 with her husband and 2 children. A bookkeeper by trade, she loved the outdoors, especially hiking, mountain climbing and travelling. She also loved to knit and do beautiful needlepoint, was a great cook and a gardener.
She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
