Yvonne started life in McTaggert, Saskatchewan, then moved with her family to Brandon, Manitoba.
While in Brandon, Mom met Jim Millar at a dance (in Rivers Manitoba) where he was stationed.
They married and had three children Marylou (Rory), Curtis and Rodney.
Yvonne divorced in the 1970’s and worked as a school secretary until she retired.
In the late eighties, Yvonne moved to Vancouver to be closer tp her grandkids.
Over the years, she gained two granddaughters, Lauren Margaret Millar and Kira Leigh Gall (née Millar).
More recently, Yvonne became a greatgrandmother to Mia Rose Gall (2 years) and Nico David Gall (4 months). Nannie now became "GG" to them pronounced just that way.
Yvonne had lots of interests throughout the years including golf and lawn bowling, and she even volunteered to be the guide for a blind lawn bowler.
Yvonne traveled to Europe to visit her friend Doris. She organized a trip to Mexico with our entire immediate family. Yvonne loved Clear Lake, Manitoba where the family cottage is and had a lot of great memories from there including a wonderful family reunion .
Yvonne had a special relationship with her nieces Bev, Barb, and Lori - she cherished these bonding familial ties.
Yvonne passed with Curtis, Barb and Rose at her bedside, holding her hands.
Yvonne was predeceased by her dad Douglas Stonewall Jacks, her mother Mary Jacks and brothers Quentin, Milton, and Don.
