I met Maureen when I was a small child.. She taught my dad, my cousin, as well was a close family friend with my Aunt Martha. My cousin's middle name is named after her in honour of the education she provided to 3 generations. We celebrated annually with birthday parties, christmas parties, and vairous Deaf events throughout the years. She was a woman of distinction and was widely respected for her opinions and use of language. I enjoyed the recent visits and our cup of tea.  May you have fun with all your friends up there. fondly remembered. xo

I remembered her when I was in high school. I had to do an interview with someone whom I admired for my English class project. She welcomed me to her house. I asked her just one question and she told many amazing stories for hours and I didn't get the chance to finish my tea. Her storytelling was so unbelievable. Miss a good deaf leader like her!

Maureen - it was a privilege to have you as a teacher and you taught me in many ways no one else could such as believing in myself and showing others I am capable of many things when they have doubt in me. You will be forever missed.

Maureen was radiantly smiled, happy and worked hard in her life. She was my teacher for about 2 or 3 years. She will be missed, Rest in Peace Maureen.

Maureen was inspired to us all as being a Deaf leader for years and always remember her at the old JHS site. She worked with my mother before I was born and again in the 70's. Also she was the family friend for years and lived close to my grandparents. She will be missed. Rest in peace Maureen and we will always remember you.

We will miss Maureen Donald. Jerome has been with Catholic Church with Maureen Donald from 1962 to 1970 and also teacher from 1968 to 1969, Carla teacher from 1970 to 1975 and also with Maureen on Field Trip in 1974. Carla had a good memories of a Field Trip From Vancouver to Edmonton then to Calgary then Vancouver. We will always a good memories and miss Maureen Donald. She is a good guidance teacher and good teach all deaf community. We learned a lot from her, We are proud of Maureen is First Deaf Teacher. She is look down to see all a good deaf community in across Canada. She has no more suffer & pain. She is rest in peace. We will never forget Maureen. God Bless Maureen. Hugs,
