It is Sidney. I miss you terribly. Although you may know this, your son is very strange. Thank you for making him so quirky.

I hope you are well and enjoying the excellent company of Granddad Walter. Dad has already bought presents for his non-existent grandchildren (keep in mind Caris is 15 and myself nearly 18). Nevertheless, I love him.

I was listening to Vera Lynn today. It makes me sad but in a happy way. "We'll Meet Again" was the song. It reminds me of you and Gromy.

Anyway, I hope you know that I love you and Granddad very much. I try to make you proud.

Dear Grantini,

You have been gone for ten years now and it is hard to believe so much time has gone by. Sidney is now 15 and Caris is 12. Even though their relationship with you is not as good as knowing you in person, you live on through all the stories we have of you, so much so that our memories have become theirs too. We talk about you and grandad Walter all the time and are always overjoyed by the presents we receive from you each Christmas. Love always from Robyn, Davey, Sidney and Caris

I love Grantini and miss you and Grandpa-Walter. From what I’ve heard and remembered you were a lovely lady and one hell of a cook. I am very honoured for having you as my one and only, Grantini!

Mom, you are missed far more than you could ever have imagined.  I love you and think of you every single day, many times each day. Wishing for even just one more moment with you....

Maureen was a very brave, caring person who was always genuinely interested in other people and was always a pleasure to talk with. She played a great game of cards and never complained about her own hand regardless of the outcome. She sought nothing in return for her own generosity and understanding. Everyone will miss her keen interest in the outside world and her great sense of humour. Sincere condolences to David, 
Suzanne and family of whom she was so justly proud.

David, Suzanne & family and close friends, my heartfelt sadness for you all.  I know Maureen from booking her cruise adventures with Mona.  Maureen always astounded me by memorizing all the deck plans of the cruise she was going on.    I am thankful that I was able to get together with Maureen before her fall and have a wonderful Greek dinner.  What an amazing person to overcome all the nasty things that life brought her and still had a smile, joke and caring word for all those in her life.
