We just heard of the passing of your dear Mom and Grandma.    Nina and I became friends years ago in Peace River when we had young families.  Although distance separated us in later years, we continued a dear friendship via phone, letters and visits. We watched the moon landing in 1969 with Nina and Clayton in their living room in Powell River.  We had other visits over the years.   
I feel very blessed to have known Nina - she was a very special person.   She had a unique strength and positivity that I very much admired.
