Predeceased by brother John (Jack) Pinder-Moss, sister Maxine Cooper and son, William Lee Wilks, Ona is survived by daughter Terrie Noelle McGill of Aylmer, QC, sister, Joy Tedford of Victoria, BC, daughter-in-law, Carole Bellinger of Vancouver, BC, her 6 grandchildren, Roy, Ken and Michael Wilks, and Jennifer, Colleen and Sandra McGill, as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
Ona was born on March 3,1921, to Hilda Maude Heathcote and John F.S. Pinder-Moss. She lived her entire life in British Columbia and took advantage of every opportunity to travel and see the world. She lived a life of grace, determination, and resilience. She broke through barriers of the time as a single working mother, homeowner and landlord. Throughout her life, she pursued her passion for design, theater, gardening, genealogy and embroidery.
