Peter died May 13th 2017 peacefully with his family at his bedside at the Capilano Care Centre.
Born in Vernon BC and the son of a pioneer of the Okanagan Valley, Peter loved horses and dogs and reminisced about his childhood on their family homestead on Okanagan Lake. Peter had a rich variety of careers from working in the shipyards in Vancouver, to photographer for Boeing and the Vancouver Sun and later working in Insurance. Always a gentleman with a clever wit, he will be dearly missed by his wife, Alison, daughter Kathryn, son in law Greg, and his grandchildren Justin and Emma. Peter was predeceased by his parents, his sister Nora, and brother Richard (Dick). Peter was blessed by having his final anointment as he died.
Peter’s funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19th, 2017, 11AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 2347 Inglewood Ave, West Vancouver .
