Robert Lloyd Jones

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Lloyd Jones on December 19, 2024 at Inglewood Care Centre in West Vancouver at the age of 93 surrounded by his family.

Lloyd is predeceased by his wife Kathleen “Kay” of 70 years and his daughter Sharon. He is survived by his daughter Carol (Chris), Sheila (Tim), his grandchildren Jonathan (Amy), Andrew, Ian, Lauren, Patrick and Benjamin and his great grandchildren Jackson and Greyson.

Lloyd and his wife Kay were actively involved with their church for years and Lloyd was also a long standing member of the masons in which he held several positions.

Lloyd enjoyed photography and whenever there was a family event his camera bag would follow, always poised to capture a moment. Fishing was a passion he shared with his grandson Andrew. In later years dad would go for walks along the seawall in West Vancouver with his friend and neighbor Don.

The family would like to thank the doctor, nurses and staff at Inglewood Care Centre for their excellent care and compassionate support of Lloyd.

A funeral service will be held at Saint Christopher’s Church, 1068 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation will be appreciated.
