In 1975, she immigrated to Vancouver to be near her son Fritz.
She worked for a number of years at her son’s optical business (F.B. Optical) until she retired.
Rosa was very active and well known in the Swiss Community. Her sense of humour was contagious. She loved to play “Jass”, knit socks, go to the casino and sang in the Swiss Choir.
We would like to thank the staff of the Finnish Home for their care. A very special Thank You to Elena and Mila who accompanied and cared for Rosa every day for the last couple of years.
There will be a memorial service at Martin Luther Church at a later date.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.firstmemorialnorthvancouver.com for the Zumbrunn family.
