Courage, hope and unstoppable optimism -  just a few of the qualities that set Sally apart. The example and gifts she gave to so many will continue to inspire us. Sally, you may be gone from here, but you will never be forgotten.

Sally Young nee Warn was more than a wife, mother and granny who loved all her grandchildren. Sally was the heart of the remaining Warn siblings, Jack and Lorraine Warn and Ann Warn Pegg and pre-deceased by her loving sister Val, Mother Phyllis and Bill Alexander. She will be so missed by all her nieces, nephews and their children. She was always generous making sure she had a gift for the new arrivals. Sally was a caring loving person who never said anything bad about anybody and it was part of who she was to go out of her way not to offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings.She was loving, brave and fun with her skeet shooting and diving off docks and being cheeky when she was young, a real beauty inside and out. 
She has been so brave and strong fighting her battle with cancer for 17 to18 years, not giving in to the last breath while being devoured and fighting this horrible disease. She was a mentor in teaching me how to deal with so many things that life throws at you. She was generous to a fault in her love and care for her family. She was liked by everone and a huge hunk has been wrenched from my heart and I will miss her tremendously.Sally was full of tenacity and clearness about what was right or wrong for herself. Sal always tried to be a peacemaker. She was sensitive and kind and always put others before herself. I will miss her tremendously and will miss our lunches and trips to Horshoe Bay and other places and dishing the dirt and laughing 'till we hurt.  I picture Sally at peace and whole and with other family members who have been missed. We are all better off by knowing this beautiful person.
