It is with deep sorrows that we announce the passing of our beloved Vittoria De Leo de Pollicino at the age of 85 on June 13, 2025, in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the Feast Day of St. Anthony of Padua, a day of profound spiritual significance in the Christian tradition, and one especially cherished by Vittoria and her family for its deep connection to faith and devotion.
With a dedicated and faithful life, Vittoria was a woman of deep faith, strength, and endless love. She was gentle, wise, and always cared for others. Her kind smile, words, and everlasting hope touched everyone around her. She gave us a lasting example of what it means to live with purpose, and deep faith and devotion to God. We will forever remember her warmth, sacrifices, and selfless love.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela and Josefina; her treasured grandchildren, Emmanuel and Gabriel; her supportive sons-in-law, Jose and Ricardo; her dear siblings and sisters-in-law as well as her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, all of whom were truly blessed to have known and loved her.
A Catholic funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Ave, Burnaby, BC.
In honor of Vittoria's passing, those wishing to pay their respects may bring a single rose to be placed at her side in appreciation to a life lived with humility, dignity, and love. Praying the Holy Rosary would also be a meaningful tribute to her profound spiritual devotion.
Vittoria’s ashes will be blessed and laid to rest in a peaceful ceremony on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver, BC.
Vittoria leaves behind a remarkable legacy. Rest in peace, forever in the arms of God.
