Wendy Josephine Yip

Wendy Josephine Yip passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 79.

She was born on April 17, 1946, and was a longtime resident of North Vancouver, British Columbia, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and community. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she deeply valued the time she spent with those she loved most.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, kindness, and deep compassion for others. With gentle strength and an open heart, she was always ready to care for those around her. Being a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she took great pride in her family.

In addition to her love for family, she was a proud and devoted pet owner who adored her dogs and treasured the companionship they brought to her life.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Wei; her sisters, Wanda (the late Bruce) and Sharon (Ted); her daughter-in-law, Sheila (the late Gerald) and, step-daughter, Sandra (Walt); her cherished grandchildren, Derek, Selena (Greg), Trevor, Bronwyn, and Liam; her nephews, Sean(Deanna), Jamie and Jason(Dori); her great-nephews and great-nieces, Hayden, Taylor, Corson, Kelsea, Laci and Brayleen; as well as the many friends and neighbors she loved so much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Boal Chapel from 1:00pm-4:30pm on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. Please RSVP on this memorial site if you and how many guests plan to attend. Thank you.
