Hi to all the Martino kids. I am sorry for your loss, I remember your Dad well. I spoke with Dorey last year who enlightened me to his condition. I now have kids of my own, and have coached them in both soccer and baseball/softball over the last 10 years. About 5 years ago I was coaching my daughter's softball team at Hollyburn, and went across to see if your dad was home. He had moved on, but at the time I was moved to let him know the impression he had made on me. Likely it was the impressions he and other coaches like him, made on me, that got me into coaching today. It is with fondness that I remember your dad, his humour, his years coaching me, and the drives to the park, in the station wagon or later the Blue Ford Club Van. "...94, 98, 104, 108...", is still etched in my mind (Tony should remember what I am talking about). 2 weeks ago, I was in Osoyoos and had memories of our times at the Rialto. Our hearts go out to all the Martino family.  We will never forget our experience at Glimpse Lake.  Bill in the kitchen creating his food dishes.  Oh, those fruit salads.  Oh, the garlic.   I can smell it now!!!  Bill and Gloria are now united.  He was a devoted Husband and Father.     Love Ann and Ray

I have so many wonderful memories of our childhood times together with your Mom & Dad, you & your siblings & our family. Things I will remember about my uncle Bill: His visits to Kamloops, and the Kentucky Fried Chicken that would accompany him; that he always called me jay, then jeff, in a funny kind of stutter; it felt like xmas when i got a MONY pen from him; listening to his version of the same stories my dad told; seeing the wicked scar on my dad's leg from Bill when they were knife-wrestling as kids; his outrageous suits that my dad inherited once Bill was done with them; The Boat: The brown Mercury Marquis my dad bought from Bill and we drove for many years. Longer than a city block; my very first tapas experience at Chateau Madrid and him sneaking mini-beers to me, Tony and Bill Jr. All very fond memories.

You will be missed Bill. Our love to the entire Martino clan from Jeff, Jay, Mickey and Gloria.
