We met Bill here at Riverwest only a few years ago and had the pleasure of being a "Locker Neighbour".  Bill's locker is across from ours and I would often step in to his prestige locker which he had set up as a workshop ....very neat and efficient.  Our locker is a true storage locker full of all our "stuff". I will miss the chats we had and seeing the projects he was working on. Our thoughts are with you Vivian.  Thank you for the treats you have given to our grandkids and the hugs you have given to us.  Tricia and Brian

Bill was our close neighbor at Riverwest and a cherished friend.  He was always a perfect gentleman, knowledgeable and anything he said was well worth listening to. We enjoyed his great sense of humor and still giggle over his gorilla joke. We will certainly miss his friendly face and send our deepest condolences to Vivian and family.

Vivian & Family:To us Bill personified the meaning of the word "integrity". We will miss our visits and will treasure our memories of those and the Lord Byng reunions.We will keep in touch with you Vivian; our thoughts will indeed be with you.

I had MR. McConnell for home room and Chemistry over my three years @ Burnaby South High School.

Without question MR. McConnell was my favourite teacher ever. He helped me through some very difficult times growing up in the most dysfunctional home in Burnaby.

Thanks for everything and especially your kindness.  I've never forgotten that.
