Before immigrating to Canada, Cletus attended Presentation College and then worked with the Grenada Department of Agriculture. He pursued his love of horticulture with further studies at the University of Puerto Rico and later at Ryerson. He was a formidable force and a true provider for his family. He relished his love of gardening, filled with annuals, like marigolds and perennials. This was especially a past-time in his retirement years and proudly shared the bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables with family and friends. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs fan and more recently, the Toronto Raptors. He never missed family gatherings where he enjoyed listening to calypso, reggae, including “The Mighty Sparrow” and more. We were so blessed to have shared with him, a long and colourful life, which will live on in our hearts.
