A long suffering illness ended for John on December 2, 2004, at Scarborough Centenary Hospital, in his 86th year. Happier times will be remembered with much love by his devoted wife Shirley, sister Vera, many nieces, nephews, friends and extended families in Canada, U.K. and Austria. Friends are most welcome on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thrusday, December 9, 2004 at 12:00 noon at St. John's Anglican York Mills (19 Don Ridge Dr., off Old Yonge Street). Cremation. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke or SPCA Newmarket Branch would be appreciated by the family.
