Dear Maria and Liliana, although Pat and I cannot be with you in this time of sorrow we want to offer you, and the PALERMO and NIGRO families, our heart felt condolences. I'm so glad that I had time to spend some time with your mother a few months ago when I visited Toronto. As always, she was full of life and I believe that she lived everyday to the fullest. She definitely was her own person and we were very fortunate to know her. She will be missed but we will remember the great times. As Virgina would always say ...Love you...Love you

To the Palermo family. Please accept our deepest condolences upon the passing of a wonderful mamma, nonna and close friend. She was like a second nonna to us and her hospitality and pure genius in the cucina was only matched by her loving and generous nature. May her memory be a blessing to all of us who deeply loved and cherished her presence. She will live on in our hearts. Con amore from

Dearest Maria & Liliana, myself, Vince and my Mom send our deepest sympathy to you and your families. Remembering all the times we visited and always so welcomed by your Mom in your home in Toronto when we were growing up and every time your Mom would see us through the years with that beautiful smile and great sense of humour. Vacationing in Italy in 1977 will forever be etched in our minds as well. We will be thinking of you at this very difficult time and praying for your Mom's soul as well.

Roma, 07/11/2012
