Annika Joy Hallman

TUSCALOOSA – Annika Joy Hallman, age 15, of Tuscaloosa, died July 19, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Northwood Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Selman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, July 22, 2016, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the church.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Charles Higgins, Ottis Bruner and Jo Bruner.

Survivors include her parents, Jason and Rachel Hallman and Andi and Chris Jones; sister, Lexie Hallman; brothers, Jax Hallman and Luke Jones; grandparents, Terry and Nita Hallman, Larry and Sally Higgins, Ralph Jones, Robert and Nancy Dunn, Terry and Sherry Lisenba; and great-grandparents, Clifton and Sarah Patterson, Mildred Higgins and Chubby and Joy Boykin.

Annika Joy was a fun loving, sweet spirited young lady who was always happy. She would do anything she could to help anyone be happy.

She loved Jesus, the outdoors, horses, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Zelda, helping her Poppy in the chicken coop, the TV show “Gravity Falls” and hugs.

Pallbearers will be Joey Boswell, Brian Duvall, Patrick Freeman, Danny Kircharr, Randy Tyra and C. J. Watson.

Honorary pallbearers are NHBC’s SHED and Northport Baptist Church Student Ministry.

Donations may be made in Annika’s memory to Northwood Hills Baptist Church Student Ministry.
