Arnold Archie Hembree, age 82, of Coker passed away Tuesday October 8, 2019 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Eloise Snipes Hembree; his father William Riley Hembree; his mother Connie Dorila Fottenberry; sisters Hycenth Lavon Hembree and Dorothea Jean Hembree Saucier; and his brothers Bazel Elmo Hembree, Harvey Lee Hembree, William “Bill” Buddy Hembree and Max Manuel Hembree.

Mr. Hembree is survived by is sons Ronald Hembree and Danny Arnold Hembree (Belinda); grandchildren Kindeth Hembree Martin(Bobby) and Lawson Riley Hembree; great-granddaughter Kerighan Lyn Hembree; his sister Linda Arlene Hembree; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a dedicated and faithful husband for 62 years and a loving father. Mr. Hembree retired from Warrior Tractor and Equipment after 34 years of service. He loved his Farmall tractors and enjoyed restoring numerous tractors over the years. He was happy when he was plowing and planting at the farm. He was a great friend and was loved by all that knew him. He was a faithful member of Coker Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Pallbearers will be Lawson Hembree, Bobby Martin III, Jimmy Woods, Calvin Liverman, Chad Burnett and Garrett Strickland.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home, the members of Coker Cumberland Presbyterian Church, David and Sherry St. Clair, Gene and Glennette Taylor, employees of Warrior Tractor and Equipment Company, Ron Cameron and Alvin Tidmore.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 13, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Patrick Nichols officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Coker Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
