

GORDO | Bobby W Jones, 51, of Gordo, AL died January 25, 2015 at home. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 30th at Sunset Memorial Park. Funeral and burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31st at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Glenn Kennedy officiating.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Raymond F. Jones , sister Patricia Joyce Jones and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Bailey-Jones ,Daughter, Kayla Elizabeth Bailey; Mother Joyce Jones Hallman (Bruce), in laws Jerry and Carol Evans, Sisters Dorita J. Jones (Herbert) Donita J.Reid, Twin Brother Billy Jones (Tammy) Sister in law, Tammy Babb (Mark) Brother in law J.J. Evans. Also, several nieces, nephews, great- nieces, - nephews, step-brothers, and-sisters, and many other family members.
Bobby was employed at BF Goodrich / Michelin in Tuscaloosa Al. for 30 years. He was a active member of the Masonic Lodge..564 in Gordo Al. for 22 yrs. Where he severed as Worshipful Master of Gordo lodge from 1999-2000. He was a member of the Zamora Shrine Temple in Birmingham Al. Also the Zamora Clown Unit where he held the office of President for 5 years. he gratulated from Gordo High School 1981. He Was also a member of directors for P.C.R.C condos
Pallbearers will be Bobby Christian, Doug Christian, Max Carey, Randy Dillard, Howard Franks, Clyde Gaines, Joe Hughes and Frankie Cabiness.
Honorary pallbearer are: Haygood Methodist Church, Gordo First United Methodist Church, Michelin of North America, Michelin Corporate Head Quarters of South Carolina, all of the Facility of B.F. Goodrich Salary and Production Workers in Tuscaloosa Al. Gordo Volunteer Fire Dept., Gordo Police Dept. DCH. Regional Pharmacy Dept, N'port DCH ER , Gary and Carolyn Achterhof, Tyler Barron, Sissy A. Spath, Brain and Mindi Wright, Nancy H. Waters, Chad and Joy Harless, Lasharee Sparks, Dr. Scott R. Fulgham, Dr. Stephen D. Browne and Gordo class of 1981,
Bobby was a loving Husband, Father, Son and Uncle. Some of his best times were spent at the beach with his family and his love for Alabama football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his fur babies, Lucy and Bella. He loved bringing joy to others by barbecuing and entertaining for family and friends. We have all lost a dear love one and great friend. He will be greatly missed. Bobby leaving will be heaven’s gain.
