Charles is survived by his wife, Reba Ingram Jacobs; daughter Shannon Jacobs Brannan (Craig); and son Charles Mark Jacobs (Katrina); sister Carole Jacobs Wilkins (Jerry). Grandchildren: Jacob Martin Brannan, Kaleigh Madison Brannan
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles Leonard Jacobs and mother Wanda Elam Jacobs
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the chapel at Sunset Funeral Home with a life celebration service following in the chapel. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Greg Watkins, Barry Falls, Neil Hobson, Sid Black, Horace Haynes, Kerry Hill, Todd Hill and Craig Brannan.
Charles was born in Loma California January 24th, 1944 while his dad was in service - WWII
He graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1962 then went to work at BF Goodrich for 28 years. He was loved by many was a devoted husband father and poppy. His favorite hobbies were riding his Harley, dances, and spending time with his family, friends and of course his grandkid's. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all.
