A graveside service for Charles will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Northport, Alabama.
Charles lived most of his adult life in South Carolina. He owned a car repair shop where he worked until he retired. He has lived in Alabama for the last eighteen years. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence Turner, Flossie Turner Peeks, Albert Peeks, nephew Alex Crotwell. He is survived by six children Troy Turner, Belinda Eakin, Jena (Kurt) Seibert, Tina (Todd) Cothran, Michelle Marchese, Susan (Bryan) Todd and several grandchildren. Also his four siblings Evelene (Frank) Smelley, Larry (Janice) Turner, Lynette (Bill) Crotwell, Ricky Turner (Dana) . As well as many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to his caretakers and nurses, especially Kerry. Charles had a great sense of humor and was joking with his ICU nurses when he was able to.
He will be missed!
His last words to his sister when he could talk, she asked, if I don't see you tomorrow, will I see you in heaven? He replied, Yes, we rejoice for this.
