

Daniel “DC” Kizziah age 82, met his Lord and Savior on September 4th, 2021. Services will be 2pm Thursday at Sunset Funeral Home with Brother Alan Roggli officiating: the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. The entombment will be in Serenity Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park.
Dan was proceeded in death by his parents Brace & Gladys Kizziah, Brother Olen Kizziah, Son-in-law Mark Wilcox & grandson Matthew Wilcox, Brother-in-law Billy Fields.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Doris, daughters Tina Wilcox, Rhonda Keller (Tommy), Step-sons Roger Miller (Desiree), Rodney Wheat (Karen), Sister Ora Fields, Grandchildren Alyssa Ragsdale (Josh), Alexis Keller (Michael Clary), Austin Keller, Ashton Thomas Keller (Haley Mitchell), Kerrie Harris (Tyler), Sky Miller, Summer Miller, Shelby Burtis, Ryan Burtis, Laken Trimm (Taylor) great-grand kids Dixie Grace Ragsdale, Kentlee & Kason Trimm, Keller Alan Ragsdale to be born in September.
Dan was a devoted husband, loving father, and PawPaw. If you ever met him you knew his priorities were his Lord and his family. He was recognized as a Godly Man and lived his life as a walking testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ. Dan was a faithful Christian and fulfilled the call to strive to always be Christ honoring. When you would ask him how he was, his response was “I am debt free and on my way to Heaven.” Dan was a member of Carrolls Creek Baptist Church. He was a 1957 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High. Dan retired after working 20 years at BF Goodrich. Dan shared God with everyone he came in contact with.
HIs memory will forever be in our hearts and minds. He is up scrolling through the streets of heaven and singing for everyone to hear.
Serving as pallbearers are Roger Miller, Rodney Wheat, Tommy Keller, Austin Keller, Ashton Thomas Keller, Josh Ragsdale, Michael Clary, and David Hollingsworth.
