Danny Lee Trawick

Danny was a man who truly never met a stranger. His open heart, friendly smile, and welcoming nature defined his life, making everyone he crossed paths with feel valued and known. He was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, living his faith openly and always eager to share his hope, warmth, and beliefs with those around him.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Danny possessed a deep love for the great outdoors. He spent countless hours in nature, but his greatest joy was sharing those outdoor adventures with his family. He was also a passionate gardener; while he loved tending to his crops, his true passion lay in sharing his bountiful harvest with neighbors, friends, and the community. Above all, Danny was a devoted father and grandfather. His family was his ultimate pride and joy, and the legacy of his love, generosity, and faith will live on through them forever.

Danny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Trawick; his parents, Bill Revis Trawick, Sr. and Elizabeth Trawick; and his brothers, Terry Trawick, Gary Wayne Trawick, and Bill Trawick, Jr.

He is survived by his loving children: Joe Trawick (Tammy), Stacy Stone (Zach), Telesa Patterson (Cliff), and Deuel McBride; his grandchildren: Tristan Smith, Haley Collins (Jon), Brantlee Holman (Caid), Daniel Trawick (Emma), Jacob Trawick, Hunter Wood, Kameron Stone, Mason Stone (Shelby), Taylor Lewis, Rowdy McBride and Shelby McBride; his great-grandchildren: Carter Collins, Lainey Collins, Tyson Holman, Landon Stone, Clayton Tucker, Abree Tucker, and Elaina Lewis. He also leaves behind his devoted sisters, Mary Harrison (Marty) and Pam Fields (Gary).

Funeral services will be held at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, immediately followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
