Danny Joe Turner

NORTHPORT | Danny Joe Turner, age 44, of Northport, died July 9, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Benton Goodman officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Pansy Turner and Chad and Eulene Stokes.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa J. Turner of Northport; daughter, Jessica J. Turner (David White) of Northport; son, Dillon J. Turner (Ashley Williamson) of Northport; sisters, Jo Ann Patrick Turner of McCalla and Donna Alloway (Marty) of Fayette; parents, Belton Joe and Ann Turner of Millport; and grandchildren, Ethan Pooh Hollis, Savannah Lynn Madison Hollis, Natalie Grace Turner, and soon-to-be Damien Christopher Turner.

He was born October 2, 1970, and graduated from LCHS in Vernon, Ala., in 1988. He was a beloved husband, father, and Papa Bear, and of all of his accomplishments, these were his most treasured. A wonderful Godly man, his presence will be tragically missed, but lovingly remembered and continued through the legacy of his beautiful ""grand-darlins.""
