Dean B. Lewis

Dean Watson Lewis, age 90 of Tuscaloosa died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at home. A private graveside service was held at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, October 24, 2022, due to covid. Bro. Terrell Jones officiated the service. Burial was at Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing.

She is preceded in death by her husband , Walter Lewis, her first husband and father of her children, William Smith, parents, Jonas and Marylene Watson, brothers, Sherrill Watson, and Ray Watson. Survivors include her daughter, Sue Stripling, son, Eddie Smith(Marie), one grandson, Jason Stripling, two granddaughters, Amanda Smith and Amy Whitson(Matt), one greatgrandson, Aaron Jones, one greatgrand daughter, Macee Jones.

Pallbearers are Aaron Jones, Charles Hester, Gary Logan, Johnny Osborne , Matt Whitson, Scott Watson.

Honorary pallbearers are her special caregivers, Viola McAteer, Ann Watson, Kathleen Baughman, Dr. Debra Davis, Hospice of West Alabama, Cindy Pinion, neighbors of Heritage Hills Subdivison, Five Points Baptist Church family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama or one's favorite charity.
