She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Lee Oswalt, her mother Totsie Melissa Dickson, and her father George Alexander Skinner, brothers GA Skinner, Billy Skinner and Joe Skinner, and sisters Joyce Ann Lenz (Jim), Doris Nell Nuckols (Claude) and Martha Ann Edwards.

She is survived by her children Alvin Oswalt (Wendy), Robbie Hallman (Doug), Mike Oswalt (Christy) and Barbara Ann Melton. She is also survived by her 5 Precious Grandkids, Felesha Smiley, Julie Oswalt, Derek Hallman, Jessica Bonner, and Wesley Oswalt and 17 Great Grandkids and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Derek Hallman, Wesley Oswalt, Anthony Stevens, Evan Smiley, Dylan Bonner, and Tyler Bonner.

Honorary Pallbearers are Zal Skinner, John Effie Bounds, Kristal Davis, Ms Ann, Cynthia Vatani, Residents of Clara Verner Towers, Staff of Heritage Health Care and Rehab, Carrolls Creek Baptist Church and Hospice of West Alabama.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 21, 2022 from 6-8 P.M.at Sunset Funeral Home, 3802 Watermelon Rd. Northport, AL.

Funeral will be Friday April 22, 2022, 2:00PM at Carrolls Creek Baptist Church, 14247 AL-69 , Northport, AL. Service will be officiated by Alan Roggli and Don Springer.

Mother was a devoted Christian. She spent her life taking care of others and worshiping God. We hope you can join us as we take her to her church one last time.
