NORTHPORT | Dennis E. Sanford, age 60, of Northport, died June 29, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Kenny Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Edna Sanford.
Survivors include his spouse, Rita; step-son, Kerry Mitchell (Angie); sister Sara Perry; and brother, Bob Sanford (Debra).
Pallbearers will be Joe Howell, Allen Sanford, Warren Kersey, Steve Cory, Jimmy Clery, and Coty Sanford. Honorary pallbearers are all of his musician friends.
